Spotlight is on Camp HOPE America – Arkansas this week as they gear up for their first year of camp!! We are SO excited to see your camp grow!
“Last week Michael Burke from Camp HOPE America came to Little Rock and worked with our Counselors and Adult Staff. We were so happy to have him here to not only see our agency, but also provide training for our team! The training Michael provided solidified the importance of breaking the cycle of violence with youth, empowering us to carry out the Camp HOPE America curriculum with love and care. Michael did an amazing job creating a safe place for us to ask questions, learn, and share!
Camp HOPE America – Arkansas would also like to welcome Adri as our Site Coordinator! Adri attended camp in California with myself last summer to learn the day-to-day life at camp. Dedicating Adri to this role allowed our team to divide and conquer all aspects of getting ready for camp. Adri has done a great job and we look forward to seeing her grow in this role. Our team has hosted a successful Camp Info Night, reached out to community partners, and worked to find fantastic kiddos to join the Camp HOPE America family!
Camp HOPE America – Arkansas is getting ready to host a fundraising event with Kendra Scott Boutique – Sip and Shop, to raise money for camp! This week, we are also facilitating training for over 20 participants. Right now is a busy time of planning and learning, and we are so excited to see it all come together for camp this summer!”
