In December, we hosted the first annual Christmas party at Camp HOPE America – OKC. Sixteen of the twenty-nine campers along with their siblings, and parents/guardians attended. All of the children received gifts from a community member that adopted them, and the parents/guardians received Target gift cards from a very generous donor. Each child received a stocking filled with goodies from the OKC Thunder, small soccer balls, and scarves from the OKC Energy. The campers got to take pictures in a photo booth, make Christmas cards, take pictures with Santa, and play a musical bingo game called Singo. Campers were excited to reunite with their counselors and staff of Camp HOPE. We all had a blast, it was awesome to see the kids interact and pick up where they left off. It truly feels like we are all family in OKC.
