The staff at Alliance for HOPE International are still swooning over the wonderful mosaic created by our Pathways participants and their families! The Pathways to HOPE Project provides year-round mentoring and camping activities to 100 children and teens from San Diego and Imperial Counties. All the children in the Pathways Project have experienced domestic violence and/or child abuse, and have attended Camp HOPE America in the summertime.
As Casey Gwinn, Alliance for HOPE President, said, “These small pieces of tumbled glass represent our brokenness. The Camp HOPE America mosaic represents the beauty and healing that we can experience when we all come together to support each other.” Thank you to local artist Gabriel Dice and the Director of the Pathways to HOPE Project, Yesenia Aceves, for making our vision a reality.
