“Fun things have been happening at Loveland Living Planet Aquarium this spring to benefit the Salt Lake County Children’s Justice Center.
“Your Local Ford Stores have been raising funds through a family scavenger hunt at the Aquarium, and thanks to overwhelming support from the public, they presented a $10,000 check to the Salt Lake County Children’s Justice Center.
“Sim Gill, District Attorney for Salt Lake County, says the money will help run the Center, which provides a safe place for children going through trauma.
“Some of the funds will also be used to send some of those children to Camp HOPE [America], a summer camp where kids can just be kids for a week.
“Ford Street Team Representative Christine Famulilner says they’re excited to continue their partnership with the Aquarium, and recently featured the unveiling of the new Ford Bronco under the EECO on Rio Tinto Kennecott Plaza. In May they also gave away a Ford Escape to the Aquarium’s 6-millionth visitor! In a couple weeks, they’ll be giving away a Penguin Encounter, so stay tuned for more details on how you can win.”
